A left-handed top-order batsman and more than a useful medium-pacer, Gaudi Toka is a professional cricketer for the Papua New G.uinea national team who also represented the associate nation in the 2014 U-19 Cricket World Cup
After his exploits for the U-19s, Toka received a maiden call-up for the 2019 Scotland Tri-nation Series in August 2019, making his ODI debut against Oman on August 14th. With just a handful of games under his belt, the 25-year old was named in PNG’s squad for the T20 World Cup.
Toka likes to bat for longer periods of time and his calm presence on the pitch elates other young members in PNG’s squad. Having been named in the T20 World Cup squad, Toka would be hoping to take the associate nation to achieve new heights in the upcoming years.
