Player Bio

Dominic Charles Goodman is an English cricketer, born on October 23, 2000, in Ashford, Kent. The lanky seam-bowling all-rounder gives the ball a good rip with his right arm and bats as a gritty tailender.

Goodman completed his schooling at Dr. Challoner's Grammar School in Amersham, where he played cricket for Buckinghamshire at the age-group level.

In 2017, the young all-rounder wanted to grow as a cricketer and moved east to join Gloucestershire's cricket academy. He also attended Clifton College in Bristol before moving on to the University of Exeter.

The 21-year-old speedster played club cricket for Chesham CC. In 2019, the player moved west to join Bedminster CC. His success around England saw him getting called up to play for Gloucestershire Second XI.

In 2019, the Gloucestershire cricketer made some impactful performances with the Second XIs; the one being standout was his two 3-wicket hauls against Glamorgan and Sussex, which earned him a professional contract with Gloucestershire in 2020.

The Gloucestershire's number 83 made his First-Class debut on April 2021 at Taunton and ended with brilliant match figures of 3/55 off his 25 overs, which also included the price wicket of James Hildreth, and Gloucs cruised their way to an 8-wicket victory.

So far, the budding seamer has featured in 5 County Championship matches for Gloucestershire and is eying to build a great career ahead.
