India and Sri Lanka’s A sides will meet on Tuesday (June 9) in Match 1 of the Tri-nation series 2026 at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. This will be the first match of the tournament, which also have Afghanistan A.

To bring bad news to the fans, Tuesday’s match between India A and Sri Lanka A could be a rain-curtailed affair, if not a washout due to poor Dambulla weather reports. As per AccuWeather.com, at least two hours of rain has been predicted in Dambulla during the match time.
Also, there will be 70% cloud cover predicted, with a probability of rain falling at 55% and thunderstorms at 33%.
Therefore, it is safe to say that according to the current Dambulla weather forecast, the IND-A vs SL-A match will have interruptions, if not get completely washed out.

There will be seven matches in total in Tri-Nation series, including the final. After IND-A vs SL-A, India will face Afghanistan A on June 11, and then there will be more matches between these two sides.
